Solis WiFi Monitoring Setup
Step 1: Solis Wifi Setup
Ensure you have a Mac or PC device that is connected to your local Wi-Fi network to continue. Insert your Wi-Fi dongle into the inverter.
Step 2:
Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your device, many different networks will appear. Connect to the network named ‘AP_XXXXXX’.
Step 3:
Go to your Google Chrome or Firefox browser and type the IP address ’10.10.100.254’ into the URL bar. You may be required to enter a username or password, if so, the password for both is ‘admin’. Click ‘sign in’.
Step 4:
The next page will appear with ‘Inverter information’ as the title. It will display information such as the serial number, current power, and yield. etc of the inverter. On the left-hand side, click ‘Wizard’ under the ‘Status’ option.
Step 5:
Select your local Wi-Fi network from the list displayed, if you cannot locate, click the blue ‘Refresh’ button and it should now display. Ensure the RSSI of the network is over 30, if not then you will need to adjust your Wi-Fi router. Click the ‘Next’ button.
Step 6:
Type the password to your home’s Wi-Fi network into the relevant field, then click ‘Next’. The next screen will show ‘enhance security’, disregard this page and continue by selecting ‘Next’.
Step 7:
Select the blue ‘OK’ button and wait for a few minutes. You should see a page titled ‘Setting complete! Please close this page manually!’. This indicates that your setup is now complete, you can close the page.
Solis – Plant Setup
Step 1:
Access the website ‘m.ginlong.com’ and select the ‘Register’ tab. Enter in the required details. Select ‘Next’ and a popup should appear displaying ‘Enter Verification Code’. This code will be emailed to you. Input the code you received into the box then select ‘Register’. Ensure that the code is entered within 1 minute of receiving it in your inbox.
Step 2:
Select ‘Create your plant in one minute!’. On the next page, you will need to fill out the description of your plant. Enter the relevant information in the boxes to the best of your knowledge, contact your installer if needed to assist you with this. If you do not know some of the details, skip the box as this will not affect the data logging.
Step 4:
Select ‘Next’, then click ‘Construction completed’. A pop-up box will display with the title ‘Add New Device’. Input the ‘SN’, this will be on your Wi-Fi stick and then select ‘Add’.
Step 5:
The next page shows your inverter information such as daily production, currently generating, and latest alerts. You should be able to see the serial number of your inverter, this means that your setup has completed. Wait a few minutes for everything to begin working.
Solis Plant Access – App Setup on Android Phone
Step 1:
Download the ‘Ginlong Home’ app on the Google Play Store.
Step 2:
Access the app and tap the ‘Login’ icon. Enter your username/email and password setup previously.
Step 3:
Wait 3-5 minutes for your plant to appear.
